The pattern you keep repeating
You know exactly what you'd tell a friend to do. But when it's your turn, the same old routine runs on autopilot — and the week ends looking like the last one.
For past clients of Everest Therapy Solutions
Mindset Evolution is a 10-session online course from a licensed counselor. The tools come from the therapy room. The course brings them into everyday life — one week at a time, with Michael and a community doing the same work alongside you. Whatever you worked on at Everest, and whoever you worked with, you're welcome here at an alumni rate: $19 a month.
One alumni rate. Cancel anytime from your Skool account.
Tap Start free trial, then pick Premium ($19/month), not Standard. Skool labels Premium as for graduates; as a past Everest client, it's yours from day one. Then let us know you're an alum.
About an hour with the Session Guide, then post your first weekly commitment.
Ten weeks of building patterns on purpose — with Michael and the community alongside you.
What makes it different
A course you watch alone changes very little.
Every session ends with one action for the week. You post it where Michael and a group of people working towards goals of their own can see it, and they ask how it went. A hard week gets support, not judgment, and you see what's working for other people. If you go quiet, someone notices. The whole community is in your pocket with our free app.

Why a course, after therapy?
Therapy happens in an hour. Life happens in the other 167. This course is built for those — one skill at a time, one session a week, with people practicing alongside you.
You know exactly what you'd tell a friend to do. But when it's your turn, the same old routine runs on autopilot — and the week ends looking like the last one.
"Not yet." "Who am I kidding." "I'll start when things settle down." Your mind offers a hundred reasons, and they sound convincing in the moment.
Discomfort shows up, and the fastest way to make it go away wins — even when that pulls you away from the people and goals you care about most.
Some of it will be familiar. The course is where familiar becomes routine: ten sessions in a deliberate order, a written guide each time, one action a week, and people doing the same work alongside you. Repetition over ten weeks is the part an hour in the room can't give you.
Then all of it is new — and that may be the better reason to be here. Plenty of good therapy never touches this model. Nothing in the course assumes you've met it before: Session 1 starts at the beginning and builds from there, so you get the whole set of skills in the order they're meant to be learned.
In their own words
Nothing here is scripted or invented. The people in this video are real clients of Michael, describing in their own words what working with him was like. Every person you see gave written permission to be here.
“Mike has helped me immensely… I have more confidence than ever before, and I have been able to change my outlook on life thanks to him.”
Experiences vary. Mindset Evolution is a personal growth course, not treatment, and results are not guaranteed.
The approach
The course is built on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — one of the most researched approaches in modern psychology, and a model used in therapy around the world. Here it's taught as a course: you'll learn to notice your patterns, unhook from unhelpful thoughts, make room for hard feelings, and take action towards what you value — not because it's easy, but because it matters.
This isn't about thinking positive. It's about seeing clearly what's helpful and what isn't, then choosing your next move on purpose.
What's inside
Each session is about an hour: a video lesson from Michael, a printable Session Guide with the worksheets, and one action for the week ahead. The sessions build on each other — the order is the method.
Make a commitment to yourself and get clear on what you want your life to be about.

What happens when life gets difficult, and how to keep moving towards what matters anyway.
The passengers on the bus: thoughts and feelings that try to steer. Name yours, and trade the discomfort scale for the willingness scale.
Change your relationship with your mind so unhelpful thoughts stop deciding your next move.
The brain's spotlight on danger, grounding through the five senses, and making room — having a feeling without letting it choose the direction.
The wall between you and the life you want isn't made of danger — it's made of discomfort. Notice what the brain wants and choose the opposite, in small repeatable moments first.
How the brain turns chosen actions into automatic patterns, and where to focus first.
Strategies for continuing long after the course, and the start of your Ongoing Growth Plan.
Package everything you've built so it travels with you, whatever direction you choose from here.
Why weekly? The rhythm gives you time to reflect, take action, and build momentum between sessions. Plan on about an hour for each session plus practice during the week. Some sessions can be stacked; most people get more from taking them one week at a time.
The community
Watching a video changes very little. Saying out loud what you're going to do this week, and having people notice whether you did it — that changes things. That's what the community is for.
What you get
Weekly commitments, live Q&A, challenges, and Michael reading and responding — for the whole course and after.
Guided lessons from Michael, released weekly. Pause, reflect, and write as you go.
A printable Session Guide for every session, with the exercises and reflection prompts used in the lesson.
A personal plan you build in the final sessions so the growth continues after session 10.
Who it's for
The skills are the same. What changes is where you point them.
You're functioning fine on paper, but you keep circling the same goals without landing them. You want a clear, structured way to actually change your patterns.
You've done the work of stepping away from what wasn't helpful. This is the second job: building a life that feels worth showing up for. Mindset Evolution is fulfillment-based and complements the professional care you may already have — it doesn't replace it.
You lead people or run something of your own. You want to follow through on what matters under pressure, make choices from your values, and stop letting stress set the agenda.
If that's where you are today, please start with professional support. Here's where to find it.
The real question
Most online courses are never completed. Mindset Evolution is built so that following through is the easy part, not the hard part.
Sessions are released on a weekly rhythm, so there's always one clear next step — never a wall of videos.
Session 1 starts with a written commitment: when, where, and how long. It's the first pattern you build.
You write as you watch. The worksheets turn each idea into one action for the week ahead.
Michael and the community are in the same Skool space. Post a check-in, ask a question, come back after a hard week.
Why Michael built this
For more than a decade, Michael has helped people understand how a "normal" human brain leads us into automatic patterns — and how intentionally practicing new patterns gradually rewires the brain so the new ones become automatic instead. Over time, that makes it easier to consistently move towards the life you want to live.
Along the way, he recognized that many of the research-based strategies capable of creating meaningful, lasting change are only accessible inside a one-on-one therapy setting, yet they benefit far more people than those seeking treatment. Plenty of excellent books introduce these ideas. But knowledge alone rarely creates lasting change. Without guidance, structure, and practical application, it's hard to turn what we know into the patterns that shape our everyday lives.
After more than 18 months of development, and years of using these strategies with clients, Michael built Mindset Evolution to make the tools accessible to as many people as possible while preserving the guided experience that makes one-on-one work so impactful. It was never meant to be just another online course. It was built to become a community where people learn through the guided sessions and through one another.
These are the same tools Michael uses in his own life. As he puts it in Session 1: without them, he wouldn't have had the opportunity to go through these sessions with you.

This is a course, not a continuation of therapy. Joining doesn't restart or replace treatment at Everest, and nothing in the community marks you as a past client unless you choose to say so.

Questions
No to both. It's a course you actively participate in. Ten sessions, each with a guide and a commitment you act on that week, plus a group working through it alongside you. It's built on ACT, the same model you may have worked with in session, but a course can't take your history, your health, or your circumstances into account the way therapy does. Joining doesn't reopen or replace treatment. If you'd like to return to therapy, contact the practice directly and we'll set that up separately.
Anyone who has been a client of Everest Therapy Solutions. This page is shared directly with past clients rather than published, so if you received the link, it's for you.
Not unless you tell them. The community is private, nothing on this page or in Skool labels you as a past client, and you choose what you share. Plenty of people start by watching and post when they're ready.
Plan on roughly an hour for each session, watching the video and completing the Session Guide, plus small practice actions during the week. One session a week is the recommended rhythm — and try not to leave more than two weeks between sessions, so the work stays connected.
Yes. The free Skool app for iPhone and Android keeps the course and the community with you: the sessions, the Session Guides, the discussions, and notifications for live Q&A. Watch a session wherever you are and post your weekly commitment from your phone.
You'll finish with an Ongoing Growth Plan. Your rate stays $19 for continued access to the community, live Q&A, and any new sessions.
No. Camera off is fine, and you can listen without speaking. Come as you are.
Life happens. Sessions stay available once released, so you can pick up where you left off. The community is there for exactly those weeks. Post a check-in and keep going.
Yes. It cancels in two clicks from your Skool account, any time.
The course is designed for people who are stable enough to work independently between sessions. It isn't suitable for anyone in acute crisis or with active safety concerns. Please see the note below and reach out for professional support first.
Yes — and you don't need it. Every session comes with its Session Guide as a free download inside the course; that's the same material. If you'd rather write in a book than print pages, all ten guides are collected in Mindset Evolution: The Complete Workbook — 138 pages, $24.99 on Amazon. Optional, and the same exercises.
An important note. Mindset Evolution is a personal growth course built on research-based psychological strategies. It is not therapy, not treatment, and not a substitute for professional support. It is not suitable for people in acute crisis, with active safety concerns, or with untreated psychosis.
If you're in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) in the U.S., or contact your local emergency number. If you're looking for a therapist, Everest Therapy Solutions can help you find the right support.
